Ayam Cemani

Our farm focuses on breeding Ayam Cemani Chickens

It was love at first sight with this very, very unique breed. Imagine black feathers, black skin, a black comb, black flesh, black organs, and even black bones! Although it is an expensive flock, it is worth every penny. My mom calls them “Little Devils,” but trust me, she admires them despite the nickname.

The challenge with this breed is that, due to its popularity, many people have started mixing it with other breeds to achieve a blackish appearance, which compromises the purity of the strain. After much deliberation, we decided to acquire and incubate our first Cemanies from three different breeders to ensure we would have the best flock possible.

These birds are extremely cute, very docile, and would make a fantastic addition to any flock because of their striking appearance and unique traits.
